Celebrating
More than 50 Years of Service
to Montana's Horticulture Industry
The Montana Nursery and Landscape
Association was formed in 1954 by a group of tradespeople who shared
concerns and interests in the emerging industry of horticulture. In the years that
followed, as the industry in Montana grew, so has M.N.L.A. We represent nursery stock
growers, retailers, landscape contractors, garden center owners, irrigation
contractors, landscape architects, allied industries and associated individuals within and
outside the state of Montana.
Who Are Our
Members?
Companies in Montana, or doing
business in Montana, who produce and/or sell products and services related to
horticulture are members of the Montana Nursery & Landscape Association (MNLA).
Additionally, teachers, extension agents, and students in horticulture-related
fields may also become members of MNLA.
How Does MNLA
Serve its Members?
MNLA represents its members in Montana with regard to legislative
and regulatory matters, provides members with referrals, marketing and
advertising tools, education and networking opportunities. We also work to
maintain high product and ethical standards for the industry in Montana. More
details about specific membership benefits are provided on the
Member
Benefits page.
How Does MNLA
Serve the Public?
MNLA works with various horticulture trades, state agencies, and
others to develop and improve standards which help our members to make quality
plant materials and services available to the public. It's our belief that
establishing industry standards and educating individuals working in
horticulture in Montana serves to provide the public with better horticulture
products and expertise.
Hours of
Operation
The Montana Nursery & Landscape Association (MNLA) does not have an office
that is open to the public, though appointments are readily available upon
request. MNLA's Executive Director, Robin Childers,
runs a one-person office and office hours are typically 8:00 am - 4:00 pm,
Monday through Friday, Mountain Time.
Please note that the Montana Nursery
& Landscape Association does not operate a nursery or landscape
business and is not a plant broker.
