The Montana Nursery & Landscape Association recognizes MNLA members for outstanding work in their professions and in the Association. The awards programs help to promote and increase the professionalism of our members, while celebrating the outstanding work they do.

PAST PRESIDENT RECOGNITION

Steve Lehenbauer

Steve Lehenbauer has given so much to the Association over his two (yes, two!) terms of service on the Board of Directors. His dedication and tireless fight to support the industry and Association members is a testament to his commitment to professionalism and helping fellow MNLA members succeed. During his term he spearheaded the formation of the first local Chapter, which still meets regularly and is thriving under his watch. He also saw the Association through the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic and ensuring lock-downs. He was on the phone with government reps over a very long couple of days, advocating to make sure Montana's green industry could keep their doors open and provide the services and plant therapy that so many consumers needed. These are only a few examples of the type of heart and commitment that Steve has put into the MNLA. We were fortunate to have him looking out for the green industry in Montana during his 10 years of Board service. Thank you, Steve!

MEMBER OF THE YEAR

Tim Groener

Tim Groener has served as the Member-at-Large on the MNLA Board of Directors for the past 5 years. He has devoted much time and effort to serve all the members of the MNLA in so many ways. He was part of the original committee that started the Billings Chapter along with also playing a key role in planning the annual Golf Tournament and Membership Drive that supports not only the Billings Chapter activities, but also the Scholarship Fund. Tim continues to serve on the local board, and is always there to lend a helping hand and give input to help make our industry better.
